6th Annual Soldier Ride Hamptons


The sixth annual Soldier Ride Hamptons, benefitting the Wounded Warrior Project, will take place on Saturday. Hundreds of bikers, walkers and runners will participate. Spectators are encouraged to come out and meet and honor wounded veterans from Iraq and Afghanistan.

Riders can choose from a 30 mile ride or a 60 mile ride. For route maps see the online map. In Sag Harbor there will be stop to pay tribute to LCpl Jordan C. Haerter, USMC. Bikers and spectators will gather at the Sag Harbor Long Wharf, then cycle back to Amagansett and the Montauk lighthouse.

Walkers can join the activities from either Amagansett or Sag Harbor. In Sag Harbor the 4.5 mile trail leads through the historic district. In Amagansett the 3.9 mile trail starts and finishes at Ocean View Farms.
