The Memoir in Your Head, "Memoir Workshop" at The East Hampton Library

The East Hampton Library will be hosting a free memoir workshop on Tuesday evenings beginning Aug 6th– Sept 3rd The workshop will be conducted by noted  author Kara Westermen.

Kara Westerman has been a writer and editor for more than 15 years. Kara received a Bachelor of Fine Arts from NYU in 1985 and a Master of Fine Arts degree from Sarah Lawrence College in creative writing. Her short fiction has appeared in The New Ohio Review, the anthology, Submerged:Tales From the Basin, and The East Hampton Star.

The book, “The Memoir Project” by  Marion Roach Smith will be a template for the class, copies can be picked up at the Adult
