Hamptons Institute: The United States & China: Future Prospects

The Hamptons Institute presents a one-day symposium of three panels bringing a range of intellectual perspectives to the most challenging issues confronting our country and the world. In the final panel of the day, Elizabeth Economy, C.V. Starr Senior Fellow and Director for Asia Studies at Council on Foreign Relations (CFR), leads a discussion with James Steinberg, former Deputy U.S. Secretary of State and current Dean of the Maxwell School of Public Policy at Syracuse University, and Frank Newman, former Deputy Secretary of the U.S. Treasury and current Chairman of Promontory Financial Group, China.
