Today is the International Day of Peace. First observed in 1982, it is a day when thousands- or maybe millions of people across the planet are thinking of and hoping for world peace.
One of my favorite quotes is "When the power of love overcomes the love of power- the world will know peace." (Jimi Hendrix)
If Jimi was correct- then perhaps we should love to gain peace.
