UPDATE: Pedestrian Struck in Sag Harbor

The patient flown to Stony Brook University Medical Center.

Update, Wednesday, 2:20 p.m.: Jhenny Arias is listed in critical condition at Stony Brook University Hospital, according to hospital records.

Update, Wednesday, 9:15 a.m.: The pedestrian who was struck in Sag Harbor Village on Tuesday night has been admitted with serious injuries at Stony Brook University Medical Center.

Jhenny Arias, 36, of Sag Harbor, was walking across Brick Kiln Road in Sag Harbor, near the Getty station, when she was hit at about 7:25 p.m., according to Sag Harbor Village police. David Corigliano, 60, of East Hampton, was driving a 2011 Jeep west from Jermain Avenue and didn't see Arias as she crossed from the northwest corner to the southwest corner, at the intersection.

Police said Corigliano passed all field sobriety tests. No charges have been filed.

The Sag Harbor Volunteer Ambulance Association treated Arias at the scene and transported her to Havens Beach, where a Medevac helicopter landed to take her to Stony Brook.

Stony Brook hospital did not immediately return a request for information on Arias' status.

Previously: A pedestrian was struck in front of the Getty station in Sag Harbor on Tuesday evening, and is being taken, by helicopter, to Stony Brook University Medical Center.

The accident occurred sometime before 7:30 p.m.

The Sag Harbor Volunteer Ambulance Corps treated the patient at the scene, then transported the patient to Havens Beach, where the medevac helicopter was about to land.

The Sag Harbor Fire Department and Sag Harbor Village police also responded.
