High School Names Top of the Class [UPDATED]
Class of 2012 gets valedictorian and salutatorian.
The valedictorian and salutatorian for the Class of 2012 at has been selected.
On Wednesday, principal Adam Fine announced that Cameron Yusko of Wainscott has been named valedictorian and Tania Uruchima of East Hampton has been named salutatorian.
Yusko let us know that he is headed to Duke University in the fall. He attended the small from first to third grade. He is the son of Jeff and Kelly Yusko. He has an unweighted GPA of 98.55.

In addition to his academic achievements, he has also been playing varsity golf for six years, varsity baseball for four years and varsity basketball for the past two.
Uruchima is headed to Swarthmore College, where she was accepted during early decision. "I haven't decided what to study yet actually, but most likely something to do with writing," she wrote to East Hampton Patch. She said her GPA is between 96.88 and 100.38 depending on the weight system. She is the daughter of Ruth Uruchima and Luis Uruchima.
