Lee Hayes, 89, of Amagansett, was honored on Wednesday for his World War II service as a Tuskegee airman and bomber pilot, as part of the Suffolk County Historical Society's Black History Month photo exhibit celebrating the contributions of Hayes and the Tuskegee Airman.
