The Springs Public School on School Street houses kindergarten through eighth grade students from the SpringsMore neighborhood of East Hampton. The school district sends its high school students to East Hampton High School. Founded in the 1930s, several generations of families have attended the school, which has been added onto several times. The school district also started recently offering pre-kindergarten in a rented space at Most Holy Trinity Church in East Hampton Village.
Wainscott School

Wainscott School is the smallest school in East Hampton. Kindergarten through third grade students from the WainscottMore area attend elementary school here and then move on to the East Hampton School District. Students are taught in a non-conventional classroom without grades.

The Wainscott School District dates to the 1700s, and until 2007 the school was located in the historic school building. A new school has since been built on the property. A three-member board of trustees is in charge of the school district.

Marshall Elementary School is the elementary school for students living in the East Hampton School District.More Recent additions have been added on to meet the demands of a growing student body. The school is located in the Village of East Hampton, with an entrance on Gingerbread Lane. Athletic fields are available for community use with sign-up, and there is a state-of-the-art playground—donated by the PTA—which is available to the public.
