Montauk Artists' Association

Flag as Inappropriate

A not-for-profit organization, the Montauk Artists' Association promotes art education and awareness on the East End, where it has a membership of more than 200 people. It runs the Depot Art Gallery and a small art school at the old train terminal at the foot of the Long Island Railroad Station in Montauk. The association sponsors art shows, workshops and programs, and it provides a scholarship in the memory of Percy Heath, a well-known jazz bassist (Modern Jazz Quartet) and fisherman who co-founded the association, to a graduating high school senior from Montauk who intends to study the arts.
