Winter Wonders Family Time

Join the Montauk Library for crafts, games, and family fun on Saturday. Bring in photographs and other scrap book materials for the craft, but this program is free of charge. It begins at 2:30 p.m.

Amagansett

Winter Festival Story & Craft Time

The Amagansett Library will have a winter festival story time starting on Saturday at 3:30 p.m.

Springs

SewHampton - Sip & Sew

A two-hour workshop for all ages will be offered at the Springs Community Presbyterian Church on Friday at 7:30 p.m. In the course of two hours you will learn how to use a machine, work from a pattern and create something. This month, they'll feature children's flannel pajama pants in fun holiday flannel or holiday themed stockings and pillows. SewHampton supply the machines and the materials. Price: Workshop is $40/pp + $10 material.

Kids Crafts & Santa

Bring your kids to see Santa, have yummy treats, sing some Christmas songs and do some fun arts & crafts at Springs Community Presbyterian Church on Saturday at noon. Free for everyone. The kids will leave with a goody bag.

Sag Harbor

Cantabile Christmas Benefit Concert

Founding director and pianist Loreen Enright will bring Cantabile Youth Chorus of The Hamptons to sing at the Christ Episcopal Church in Sag Harbor on Friday at 6 p.m. All donations will go to Episcopal Relief and Development for Typhoon Relief in the Philippines through Christ Church.

Wainscott

ARF Open Late

The ARF Adoption Center in Wainscott will stay openon Friday until 7 p.m. for adoptions and holiday shopping. Refreshments will be served.

Sagaponack

Caroling Around the Tree

All Sagaponack residents are invited to join fellow residents at  the Christmas Tree at the intersection of Cemetery Lane and Sagg Main Street on Saturday at 5 p.m. for caroling. All are invited to Village Hall afterwards for hot cider, hot chocolate and cookies. Please feel free to bring your favorite holiday treats to share.

Southampton

Southampton Christmas Marketplace

Get your holiday shopping at the Southampton Center at 25 Jobs Lane in Southampton Village, featuring local food, merchants, and artisans. It takes place from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Friday and Saturday and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Sponsored by The Southampton Chamber of Commerce.

Breakfast With Santa

Celebrate the season on Saturday at the Long Island Aquarium and Exhibition Center for their annual Breakfast with Santa! Say hello to aquarium mascots, enjoy a delicious buffet breakfast in the waterfront Sea Star Ballroom, and take along a camera to capture a family photo with Santa. Times are 10 a.m.; 12 p.m.; and 2 p.m.

Adopt a Pet

Southampton Animal Shelter will be showcasing animals for adoption at Agway, 1122 Osborn Avenue on Saturday at 11 a.m. Head down there to give a pet a permanent place to call home.

Family Movie Night

A night for the whole family on Friday at 7 p.m. The True Light Church on Main Road will be showing the new Veggietales Christmas movie, "Merry Larry and the True Light of Christmas".  All ages welcome.  Admission, Food, Prizes and Giveaways - All Free. Collecting donations for "John's Place" - local homeless ministry.

Film Screening: ‘Midnight’s Children’

On Saturday at 7:30 p.m. the Peconic Landing Community Center will screen “Midnight’s Children,” based on the novel of the same title by Salman Rushdie. At the stroke of midnight on Aug. 15, 1947, as India proclaims independence from Great Britain, two newborn babies are switched by a nurse in a Bombay hospital.  Tickets are $10.

Open Mic For Sobie

On Sunday at 3 p.m., the Whiskey Wind Tavern is hosting an open mic fundraiser for a little dog named Sobie, a.k.a. “Butter” who needs life-saving heart surgery. Bring your instruments. Free buffet and cash bar. Half the proceeds go to Sobie’s care.
