Hamptons Weekend Agenda: Comedy, Art, Music & More

MONTAUK
• Hops for Habitat: This art show at Montauk Brewing Company will benefit Cornell Cooperative Extension, with proceeds from art sales going toward eelgrass restoration. Admission and tastings are free; show opening runs from 6 to 9 p.m. Friday, and lasts all weekend.
• Art Opening: The Montauk Artists' Association will celebrate the opening of its next show at Depot Gallery featuring a half dozen local artists. Reception runs from 5 to 7 p.m. on Saturday, and the show will run until July 7.
SPRINGS
• Lobster Dinner: The Springs Community Presbyterian Church will be hosting a dinner Saturday at 5 p.m. For $35, treat yourself to local lobster, cole slaw, potatoes, strawberry shortcake and more.
AMAGANSETT
• Fundraiser: Stony Hill Stables Foundation will be hosting a fundraiser to benefit the five-decade-old stable from 6 to 8 p.m. on Saturday. The second annual cocktail party will feature a dressage competition and a pony drill team performance. Tickets are $150 per person or $200 for a couple.
EAST HAMPTON
• Tom Wolfe Tribute: At Guild Hall on Friday night at 8, Tony-Award-winning actor Rene Auberjonois will perform a one-man show celebrating the writings of Tom Wolfe: "The Electric Kool-Aid Kandy-Kolored Right Stuff Man in the Ice-Cream-Suit." Tickets start at $28.
• Choral Singers: On Saturday at 7 p.m. at Most Holy Trinity Church, The Choral Society of the Hamptons and The Greenwich Village Singers will present "Israel in Egypt" (Exodus) by George Frideric Handel and "Cantata 79" by J.S. Bach. Tickets run $10 to $75.
• Music for Humanity: The nonprofit – which donated $2,500 to an East Hampton grad last year to help pay his way to Manhattan School of Music – will be hosting a live performance at Outdoors. Performers include Glenn Feit Sr., Job Potter and Michael Weiskopf. The show is free, though donations are welcome.
SAG HARBOR
• Peconic Baykeeper Benefit: Benefit for the Bays will celebrate the Peconic Baykeeper's 15th anniversary, including a three-course dinner cruise in the bay, auction items and more. Cost is $250 per person for dockside cocktails, which kick off at 5:30 p.m., and $500 for to include the cruise, which leaves at 8.
• Book Launch: The new book by Michael Clinton – president of marketing and public relations for Hearts – will be celebrated on Saturday at 6 p.m. at Tulla Booth Gallery. "The Globatrotter Diaries: Tales, Tips and Tactics for Traveling the Seven Continents" is part travel guide, part memoir. Admission to the opening is free.
• Nigel Savage: Temple Adas Israel is hosting the founder of Hazon for two talks on Friday and Saturday. Friday, Savage will speak at 8 p.m. Friday about The Jewish Omnivore's Dilemma, and at noon on Saturday, living a simpler life.
• Colin Quinn: The funny man will bring his Off-Broadway show, "Unconstitutional," to Bay Street Theatre on Saturday night starting at 8 p.m. Tickets are $62 for members and $69 for non-members.
BRIDGEHAMPTON
• Historical Society Exhibit: The Bridgehampton Historical Society will host an opening reception for its new exhibit, "Next Stop, Seaside Board." The exhibit is a look back the inn era in the local area – from the view of the innkeeper.
WATER MILL
• Parrish Art Museum: Robert Hobbs, art historian and author of "Alice Aycock: Sculpture and Projects," will discuss the work of Aycock on Friday starting at 6 p.m. Admission is $10.
SOUTHAMPTON
• Garden Tour: Four private gardens will be toured, led by the Southampton Rose Garden, on Saturday starting at 10 a.m. Call for tickets and prices.
WESTHAMPTON
• Animal Benefit: Bidawee is hosting an adoption fair in conjunction with NY Auto Fest, hosting a classic car show for free on Sunday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
• Kayak Course: Looking to get into the sport? Author Kevin Stiegelmaier will be hosting a How-To course and more on Saturday at 12:30 at the Westhampton Free Library. Admission is free.
• Ron White: The comic comes to Westhampton Beach Performing Arts Center, on the road for his 'A Little Unprofessional' tour. Tickets run $90 to $150, and the show starts at 8 p.m. Sunday.
