Coming Up: Town Board, Healing Circle Both Meet Tuesday

This is what's coming up for the week of Jan. 6.

Here's what's coming up this week: 

Monday

Flash Story and Craft: The Amagansett Library will hold a story time for kids in nursery through pre-kindergarten.

Tuesday

Town Board
: The East Hampton Town Board will hold a work session at Town Hall at 10 a.m.

Healing CircleJoin Liz Lattuga, RN and certified yoga instructor, for a healing circle open to anyone in the community at the East Hampton Senior Center at 10 a.m. This free 4-week program meets on Tuesdays and incorporates healing modalities including: Reiki, Chair Yoga, and Meditation focusing on the body and breath. The program is brought to participants by the Southampton Hospital’s Wellness Initiative in partnership with the East Hampton Department of Human Services. 

ZBA Public Hearing: The East Hampton Town Zoning Board of Appeals will meet at Town Hall at 6:30 p.m.

School Board: The East Hampton School Board will meet at 6:30 p.m.

Wednesday 

Tot Hop: Pre-schoolers play games and move with songs and rhymes in this directed program at the Amagansett Library sure to help them burn some excess energy during the winter months at 2:15 p.m.

Design Review Board: The East Hampton Village Design Review Board will meet at Village Hall at 5 p.m.

Planning Board: The East Hampton Planning Board will meet at Town Hall at 6:30 p.m.

Thursday

Legos & Games: For Kids K-up at the Amagansett Library at 4 p.m. 

Planning Board: 
The East Hampton Village Planning Board will meet at the Emergency Services Building at 11 a.m.

Film Screening: "Frances Ha" will be shown at the Montauk Library as part of the Friends of the Montauk Library's Winter Film Series. The screening will begin at 7 p.m. It is free and refreshments are served. 

Steve Lynch Victory Party: The East Hampton Republican Committee will celebrate Town Highway Superintendent Steve Lynch's re-election at the Palm Restaurant in East Hampton from 7 to 9 p.m. Price: $50 suggested donation.

Friday

Zoning Board of Appeals: The East Hampton Village ZBA will meet at the Emergency Services Building at 11 a.m.

Saturday

Cantor Robin Joseph to speak on the "Mitzvah of Organ Donation": Cantor Robin Joseph will speak during Shabbat services at 10 a.m. on “The Mitzvah of Organ Donation.” Joseph has served Temple Beth Shalom in Hastings-on Hudson, NY, as cantor and otherwise, for 33 years.

Seal Hike in Montauk: Join a State Park naturalist on a beach/forest hike to a local haul-out spot for migrating seals. Hikers meet at the Montauk Point Concession building at 11 a.m. Due to the popularity of this hike, space is limited and reservations are required.  Price: $4-adults, $3-children (3-17), Under 3 is Free
