MONDAY


Flash Story Time: The Amagansett Library will hold a story time at 2:15 p.m.

TUESDAY

Town Board: The East Hampton Town Board will hold a work session at Town Hall at 10 a.m.

First Story Time: The Amagansett Library holds a story time for caregivers and their children through 4 years old, starting at 10:15 a.m.

Free Lunch and Learn Wellness Program: Get free vision screenings and eye glass checks at Montauk Library at 11:30 a.m. Free blood pressure, glucose and cholesterol screenings by Southampton Hospital & East Hampton Healthcare Foundation. Also, information on understanding the medications you take including prescription, over the counter and herbal remedies will be provided. Light refreshments available.

SewHampton - Sip & Sew Series: A two-hour workshop for all ages will be offered at the Springs Community Presbyterian Church at 7:30 p.m. In the course of two hours you will learn how to use a machine, work from a pattern and create something. This month, they'll feature children's flannel pajama pants in fun holiday flannel or holiday themed stockings and pillows. SewHampton supply the machines and the materials. Price: Workshop is $40/pp + $10 material.

WEDNESDAY

Blood Drive: The Bridgehampton Fire Department will host a blood drive at the firehouse from 2 to 8 p.m. 

Verdi’s FALSTAFF Encore: Robert Carsen’s production—the first new Met Falstaff since 1964—is set in the English countryside in the mid-20th century. Ambrogio Maestri (last season’s Dulcamara in the Opening Night production of L’Elisir d’Amore) sings the title role of the brilliant and blustery Sir John Falstaff, opposite a marvelous ensemble that includes Angela Meade, Stephanie Blythe, Lisette Oropesa, and Franco Vassallo. Falstaff is a co-production of the Metropolitan Opera; Royal Opera House, Covent Garden; Teatro alla Scala, Milan; the Canadian Opera Company, Toronto; and De Nederlandse Opera, Amsterdam. It will be shown at Guild Hall in East Hampton at 6 p.m. Price: $22, $20 members, $15 students.

Planning Board: The East Hampton Town Planning Board will meet at Town Hall at 6:30 p.m.

THURSDAY

Town Board: The East Hampton Town Board will meet at Town Hall at 7 p.m.

Film Screening: "Much To Do About Nothing" will be shown at the Montauk Library at 7:30 p.m.

FRIDAY

Cantabile Christmas Benefit Concert: Founding director and pianist Loreen Enright will bring Cantabile Youth Chorus of The Hamptons to sing at the Christ Episcopal Church in Sag Harbor at 6 p.m. All donations will go to Episcopal Relief and Development for Typhoon Relief in the Philippines through Christ Church.

ARF Open Late: The ARF Adoption Center in Wainscott will stay open until 7 p.m. for adoptions and holiday shopping. Refreshments will be served.

SATURDAY

Kids Crafts & Santa: Bring your kids to see Santa, have yummy treats, sing some Christmas songs and do some fun arts & crafts at Springs Community Presbyterian Church at noon. Free for everyone. The kids will leave with a goody bag.

Winter Wonders Family Time: Join the Montauk Library for crafts, games, and family fun. Bring in photographs and other scrap book materials for the craft, but this program is free of charge. It begins at 2:30 p.m.

Winter Festival Story & Craft Time: The Amagansett Library will have a winter festival story time starting at 3:30 p.m.
