MONDAY

Study of the Second Book of Kings: Join Rabbi Zimmerman at the Jewish Center of the Hamptons in East Hampton in the small sanctuary on Nov. 4, 11 and 18 from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m.

School Board: The Springs School Board will meet at 7 p.m.

TUESDAY

Election Day: While voters go to the polls in Southampton, Town Hall will be closed. The Recycling Centers will also be closed.

School Board: The East Hampton School Board will meet at 6:30 p.m.

Staged Reading: The Naked Stage will present a staged reading at Guild Hall in East Hampton at 7:30 p.m.

WEDNESDAY

Screen Time and the Digital Dilemma with Cornell: How much screen time is OK for children? The Cornell educator shares research finding so you can be media-literate, understand the benefits, and protect children from the negative influences of media culture during a seminar at the Amagansett Library at 6 p.m.

Planning Board: The East Hampton Town Planning Board will meet at Town Hall at 6:30 p.m.

THURSDAY

Film Screening: "The Way, Way Back," starring Steve Carell and Toni Collette, is a funny and poignant film about a teen boy's vacation with his mother and her overbearing boyfriend and his daughter, and will be shown at the Montauk Library at 7 p.m.

Town Board: The East Hampton Town Board will meet at Town Hall at 7 p.m.

FRIDAY

Literature Live! Presents The Diary of Anne Frank: Bay Street Theatre’s Literature Live! will present, "The Diary of Anne Frank," live on stage beginning Friday at 10 a.m. through Nov. 26. The play is suggested for ages 13 and up. Price: $12 for students and $25 for general admission

Friday Night Take Out: The Springs Community Presbyterian Church offers take-out from 3:30 to 5:30 p.m. Price: Seafood Chowder $9 per pint, Split Pea Soup $7 per pint.

CAC: The Sag Harbor Citizens Advisory Committee will meet at the temporary John Jermain Memorial Library at 5:30 p.m.

Fall Fling Dance: Held at the American Legion in Amagansett, a live DJ, light buffet with dessert, and cash bar will be held at 7 p.m. Price: $20 before date of dance and $25 at the door, 50/50 (6 tickets for $5.00) before and at door.

SATURDAY

Clothing Drive: The East End Syncro Swans are holding a clothing drive to raise money for the team on Saturday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Looking at Leaves: Become a Nature Detective using the four senses of sight, sound, smell, and touch to explore leaves at Hither Hills State Park in Montauk at 11 a.m. Enter observations into your very own detective notebook. Detectives will make rubbings, leaf critters, or stamps of fallen leaves in their notebooks. Fun for all ages. Make a reservation in advance. Price: $4 for adults, $3 for children ages 3-17, and children under 3 are free. Parking is free.

Shadmoor State Park Hike and Seek: A one-hour hike through Shadmoor State Park in Montauk at 1 p.m. While hiking, "seek" out items from a list that includes plants, animals, and other objects. Make a reservation in advance. Price: $4 for adults, $3 for children ages 3-17, and children under 3 are free. Parking is free.

Author Signing: Roxana Robinson, the author of the five novels, will appear at BookHampton in East Hampton at 5 p.m.

"Front of the Class" Video Screening: Be inspired by Brad Cohen's determination to become a first grade teacher despite his having turret's syndrome. The film will be shown at the at Chabad Lubavitch of the Hamptons in East Hampton at 7 p.m. Light melave malka will be served.

SUNDAY

Pancake Breakfast at St. Luke's Church: The church will host a pancake breakfast, which includes pancakes, sausage, apple sauce, juice and coffee at 8 a.m.

Clothing Drive: The East End Syncro Swans are holding a clothing drive to raise money for the team on Saturday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.
