Musicians and music lovers joined family and friends of Mick Hargreaves Friday evening at the Stephen Talkhouse for a benefit in his honor. The event was one of many planned on Long Island to assist Mick with medical bills incurred by his recent attack, which resulted in life threatening injuries including a fractured skull.
Laura Perrotti, who organized the event, said it was a "wildly successful evening on many levels and certainly a successful fundraiser for dear Mick."
Mick expressed his gratitude for the show of support, "I've never been as inspired as I've been right now... ever since everyone began pitching such a dizzying variety of support my way. It's been incredible."
