Entertainers, Artists and Friends Throw a Party to Help a Friend

Gene Casey and the Lone Sharks with special guests performed for the crowd as attendees ate, drank and bid on local art to support Dee Moore.

Local art filled the walls, and local friends filled the floor of on Wednesday evening, where more than $18,000 was raised for who is undergoing treatment for lymphoma.

Gene Casey and the Lone Sharks kept the crowd smiling and foot tapping with special guests including Klyph Black, Mick Hargreaves and Nancy Atlas.

The attendees took time out from dancing and bidding on the art offerings for an outdoor performance from Samantha, Evan and Nate of The Fiery Sensations.

At 10:15 a.m. on Thursday morning, there were still more envelopes to be opened that will help with Moore's medical bills and other expenses.

Organizer Tim Le, thanked everyone on Facebook after the event. "Great Success Everyone. Made lots of money for Dee. Every piece of artwork SOLD and a fun time was had by all. Thanks to everyone for all the help - Especially Andrea for organizing and selling the artwork, Gene Casey and the LoneSharks...all the great donations...and the like. Thank you all very much."
