East Hampton Supports New York City Food Bank with End of Summer Benefit

"Real Housewives of New York City" star and East Hampton homeowner Kelly Killoren Bensimon hosted a amNewYork's benefit  for the at on Sunday night, capping off a summer of star studded benefits in the Hamptons. 

Guests enjoyed a cocktail hour and a three-course dinner by chefs Robert Hesse and Seth Levine. The menu had a modern twist on American comfort food such as mac and cheese, crab cakes, lobster bisque -- all using fresh, local ingredients. Guests also received a VIP gift bag filled with goodies and access to the exclusive after-party.

The evening also included a performance by "American Idol" and "Rock of Ages" Star Constantine Maroulis.

Fifty percent of the $145 to $290 ticket sales went directly to help feed the hungry in New York City. There was also a raffle of high end items with 100 percent of the proceeds supporting the cause, which for the past 28 years has been working to end food poverty throughout the five boroughs.
