PHOTOS: Under The VIP Tent at The Hampton Classic

Politicians, celebrities, philanthropists and more come out to Grand Prix Sunday.

New York City Mayor Mike Bloomberg, "Real Housewife" Jill Zarin, Peter Cook, Rosanna Scotto and James Lipton were just a few of the high profile figures under the VIP tent during the $250,000 FTI Grand Prix on Sunday at the Hampton Classic Horse Show in Bridgehampton.

The Left has spread a false mythology that the rich are all republicans.... What about Hollywood rich elites, the Kennedys, Sorros, etc. ??

I'm so happy that the Hamptons Classic was a wonderful success. We so enjoyed having so many distinguished visitors out here playing in our delightful neighborhood. I would like to suggest, however, that the Classic pursue a less insular agenda in the years to come. We have a plethora of excellent restaurants that could accommodate the entirely of the Classic's assemblage without the necessity of having victuals provided in tents onsite. Likewise, the numerous purveyors of fine vintages and spirits could satisfy the palates of the most discriminating of Classic attendees without the necessity of carting beverages to the equestrian events themselves. Additionally, why mount an event in a milieu famous for its beaches without taking advantage of its most important attribute? A first-class littoral equestrian event (a race[?]), sponsored by the Classic would be a marvelous addition to its agenda and an opportunity for locals to be exposed to the wonderful ambiance of thoroughbred competition. There are SO many other equestrian endeavors that the Classic could sponsor that would provide even more exhilarating experiences for its guests and gainful employment for local residents.

A couple of days of hard rain is what we really need out here right now. One giant "flush.". Goodbye horsies, hamsters, helicopters, cidiots, August people, stogie chomping, fedora wearing guests of guests and gypsy cab drivers. Back to the city. Stash the whites and fill the walk-in closet with the black wardrobe. It's time for the east end to breathe again.
