The Hampton Classic: Not Just a Horse Show

Equestrian event offers much more.

The Hampton Classic is a whole lot more than just a horse show. It's one of the most extravagant events on social calendar in the Hamptons. You never know who you will see; celebrities, politicians, society folk and the like. With the grand finale taking place on Grand Prix Sunday, it's one of the last major events of the summer. There are more than 1,600 competitors from around the world and more than $700,000 in prize money being offered. It all leads up to the main event, the $250,000 FTI Grand Prix and FEI World Cup Qualifier, which takes place on the final day of competition. Here are some images from the week leading up to Grand Prix Sunday.
