MONTAUK
•  Red, White & Rainbow PartyHippy Cool Productions will host a Montauk Tea Dance at 360 East at Montauk Downs on Friday, July 5 from 4 to 9 p.m. The dance is a celebration of same-sex love and pride. Tickets are $20.• Book FairJoin the Friends of the Montauk Library, which helps support the Montauk Library. You will enjoy books by the pound and special books, raffles, auctions, plants, jewelry, a children's section, white elephants, baked goods, a 50/50 raffle, refreshments and more. 

AMAGANSETT
• Amagansett Fine Arts FestivalA festival of independent artists will be held at the American Legion July 5th, 6th and 7th. In addition to fine art paintings, drawings and prints will be sculpture and non-functional crafts. Admission is free.
 
EAST HAMPTON
• Rabbi Guest SpeakerJoin Rabbi Adam Mintz on Friday at 2:30 p.m. at the Jewish Center of the Hamptons for the topic: The Sin of Moses: Why is a Leader Held to a Higher Standard?
• Artists' ReceptionWorks by John Hard, Margaret Bowland, Aurelia Wasser, Susan Grossman and Clifford Smith will all be on display starting at 6 p.m. at Birnam Galleries on Main St. in East Hampton.
• Gasland Part II at Guild HallFollowing the screening Friday at 8 p.m., director Josh Fox and environmental experts will participate in a Q&A moderated by Alec Baldwin. Gasland Part II, the follow-up to Fox’s 2011 Academy Award-nominated documentary Gasland, examines the method of extracting natural gas and oil known as hydraulic fracturing, or “fracking.”
• Guild Hall Season Spectacular Starring Audra McDonaldEach year, Guild Hall celebrates the Fourth of July weekend with a spectacular performance followed by a private dinner at a nearby home. Fresh from a sold-out benefit at Avery Fisher and a dinner that seated 1,200, join Audra McDonald, who The New York Times calls "a defining voice of our time." Tickets are $650 (limited quantity available), $1,000 and $2,500.

WATER MILL
• East End or Busk at Parrish Art MuseumEast End or Busk returns to the covered terrace Friday night with SisterMonk, whose original songs are female-powered, djembe-driven, and culturally diverse. Soulful vocals, danceable grooves, and poetic lyrics have gained the band a solid fan base from east to west coast. Admission is free with museum admission ($10 for general public).

SOUTHAMPTON
• WPPB Fourth of July PartyLive music, food, a dunk tank and more! Even Southampton Patch's own Brendan O'Reilly will be among those being dunked, so stop on by. Party starts at 11 a.m. Saturday.
• Halsey House Gala: Celebrate our nation's birthday at the Museum's 
annual gale on the grounds of the 1680 Thomas Halsey Homestead. Cost is $125 in advance $150 at the door; proceeds benefit the museum's education programs.
• Grassland to GrasslandJoin Friends of the Long Pond Greenbelt on a moderately-paced 2 mile hike from Vineyard Field to the grasslands of Poxabogue County Park. Meet at the South Fork Natural History Society (SoFo) Museum parking on Sunday at 9:30 a.m.

QUOGUE
• Historical Art Show: Quogue Historical Society begins on July 6 to show its new exhibit, "On Exhibition." The show is open to the public Saturdays, Wednesdays and Fridays.

WESTHAMPTON BEACH
• WHBPAC: Set on the French Riviera in the summer of 1915, Gilles Bourdos' lushly atmospheric drama Renoir tells the story of celebrated Impressionist painter Pierre-Auguste Renoir, and his middle son Jean, who returns home after being wounded in World War I. Tickets are $15 for the general public.
