Race To the Finish Line for Turkey Dinner in Annual Montauk Run

Before they sat down for a big turkey dinner, runners and walkers burned some calories at the annual Turkey Trot in Montauk on Thanksgiving morning.

Montauk's 37th annual "Run for Fun" Turkey Day 3 & 6-mile run/walk saw about 500 participants.

In the 3-mile race, Nicholas Berglin, 16, came in first overall with a time of 16:46. Kieran Kelly, 35, was right behind him with a time of 16:52, and she was the top female finisher.

On the 6-mile course, Daniel Widlowski, 25, finished first in 34:46. Tim Rossi, 21, came in second with a time of 34:48. The third place finisher, Kira Garry, 20, was the overall female winner with a time of 37:58.
