Women's SUP & SURF Retreat - an all day aquatic immersion :)

For the first time EVER, Main Beach is hosting an all-day water immersion for gals who want to learn/deepen their understanding of SUP and surf.  To this goal, we are having our first women’s ONLY one-day retreat on Wednesday, August 22nd from 9AM to 3ish.  To register, sign up HERE

Our retreat day will begin with a “Meet & Greet” session at the shop at 9AM so we can all get a chance to meet your compatriots and apply liberal SUNBLOCK for our water departure!  Next, we will shuttle to Georgica Pond where we will have a brief Stand Up Paddleboarding  clinic that covers the rudiments of paddleboarding and water safety.  From there we will launch onto Georgica and continue with an on-the-water seminar about stroke, technique & core development.  After a leisurely tour of Georgica Pond, we will head to the beach on the opposite shore where our surfing adventure awaits!

In the privacy of the third jetty off of Georgica Beach, we’ll talk surfing, safety and you’ll catch your first wave to the deafening roar of your surfin’ and SUP sistas!   If there’s one thing I know about teaching women to surf is that we are OUTRAGEOUSLY supportive of one another.  Get ready to have a ridiculously good time, laugh your butt off and make some new friends.  At the end of the day, we’ll paddle back across Georgica and head back to our lives full of laughter, knowledge and experience on the water.  If this return paddle is a bit beyond us, no worries!  We’ll have a member of the Main Beach team pick us up and shuttle us back to our cars!  I LOVE being a part of a team
