Sponsored by the East Hampton Hurricane Swim Team and the East Hampton Ocean Rescue Squad, the annual Polar Bear Plunge will benefit the East Hampton Food Pantries.
Registration is from 11 a.m. to noon.The fee is $25.00 per person, unless donations were collected. For more information about sponsorships go to www.easthamptonfoodpantry.org.
Free refreshments, including soup, chowder, chili, donuts, coffee, and hot chocolate, will be served at the "Survivor's Celebration" after the plunge.
