CCOM's Student Interns Guided Walks

Please join the Concerned Citizens of Montauk’s (CCOM) student interns as they lead their final guided walks at Big Reed Pond's blue and green trail on October 6thand Point Woods Trail Walk on October 7th. Walks will be led by students in both English and Spanish.

Through a generous grant from the Andrew Sabin Family Foundation, CCOM launched their first environmental internship program back in March 2012. The student interns, all East Hampton High School Students, were selected through a competitive application process which was open to all sophomore and juniors. Through an intensive five-month program students received field training from the National Park Service, CCOM, East Hampton Trails Preservation Society and the South Fork Natural History Museum.

Both walks are free and open to the public.
