Special School Boards Meeting on Two Percent Tax Cap

The East Hampton Union Free School District and the five sending districts -- Amagansett School District, Montauk School District, Sagaponack School District, Springs School District and Wainscott School District, will hold a joint meeting in the high school auditorium for a workshop. Anthony Cashara, a school aid specialist, will give a presentation to the schools on the impact of New York State’s tax levy cap on our school districts, including budget implications, fiscal guidance, and State aid, according to the districts. The meeting is open to the public.
