Rev. Osagyefo Uhuru Sekou Speaks
Canio’s Cultural Cafe hosts Reverend Osagyefo Uhuru Sekou, who will speak about his latest work, Gods, Gays, and Guns: Essays on Religion and the Future of Democracy. The reverend is an author, documentary filmmaker, organizer, pastor and theologian. Rev. Sekou is the founding Senior Minister of The Freedom Church of New York City, and has served as the Special Assistant on social justice to the Bishop for the Church of God in Christ in New York.
