John Jermain's Book and Author Luncheon

The Friends of the 's annual Book and Author Luncheon include Sag Harbor residents
Lou Ann Walker, memoirist, author, editor and Professor of Creative Writing and Literature at the Southampton Graduate Arts Campus of Stony Brook University, and David Margolick, author, long-time contributing editor at Vanity Fair, Newsweek and Portfolio. He is also an adjunct
professor in New York University’s Department of Journalism.

Walker has penned A Loss for Words, about growing up with deaf parents. Margolick's latest book is Elizabeth and Hazel: Two Women of Little Rock, a study of the principal figures in the iconic photograph from the 1957 school
desegration crisis.
