East Hampton Middle School Health & Wellness Fair
On Wednesday, April 27th, from 8-10:15am, the East Hampton Middle School’s Bonac on Board to Wellness program will present their annual community Health and Wellness Fair. This year’s theme is “Living the Green Dream.” The East Hampton Healthcare Foundation, Southampton Hospital and the South Fork Community Health Initiative are co-sponsors of the event.
The Health Fair will kick off with a healthy family breakfast in the school cafeteria. Health and wellness related exhibits, demonstrations, tastings and information will be on display in the hallways from participating community organizations, businesses and physicians. Other highlights include Yoga and Zumba in the gymnasium, and free raffle prizes for the students.
The fair will feature representatives from a wide variety of East End health-related organizations and include information and presentations on bicycle and traffic safety, cancer, chiropractic, dental and visual health, exercise and fitness, healthy skin, nutrition, organic gardening, sports therapy, water safety, women’s health, and more.

Free glucose, cholesterol and blood pressure screenings for adults will also be available, as well as information on health insurance coverage and food stamp enrollment.
