Meet in Camp Hero parking lot (Take a right at the big brown sign reading "Camp Hero State Park." Straight in, past the white booth, follow it to the gravel parking lot with the split rail fence overlooking the ocean.)
Walk along the ocean near Montauk Lighthouse with rock stars Gene Genova and Ron Russ, president and vice-president of Long Island Mineral & Geology Society. Learn about the rocks left behind from the ice age and view a huge 1900s’ geological map that gives an overview of Long Island.
