You are cordially invited to attend the 2011 Stony Brook Southampton Coastal and Estuarine Program (SCERP) . The Symposium is an opportunity for Long Island residents, as well as government and non-government agencies, to learn about the most recent research findings and near term research plans of SCERP. Topics to be presented by faculty and students include nitrogen loading in estuaries, harmful algal blooms, coastal ocean acidification, filter feeding bivalves, eelgrass, and estuarine ecosystem restoration.
