East Hampton Day Care Throws Down a Thanksgiving Feast
Over 100 students, teachers, and East Hampton officials got a head-start on the holiday with a lavish luncheon.
East Hampton Day Care Learning Center kicked off the holiday season early with a Thanksgiving feast for nearly 125 people on Wednesday .
The 104 day care students -- toddlers to 4 year olds -- were joined by East Hampton Village Mayor Paul F. Rickenbauch, Jr., East Hampton School District Superintendent Ray Gualtieri, and Assistant Superintendent Charles Soriano. Everyone ate family-style.
The lunch began with a turkey song, followed by turkey with all the trimmings. Mary Carter and her assistant chef Latoya Spearman cooked four large birds for the occassion.
