Civil Service Charges Pending Against 3 School District Employees
East Hampton School District suspends without pay three of the five transportation employees suspended.
Three of the East Hampton School District transportation employees who were suspended last month are facing further troubles.
According to 27East, the district is charging two school bus drivers and one mechanic under Civil Service Law. The exact charges have not been revealed.
Five employees — who have not been named — were suspended in February, initially with pay. On Wednesday, the school board moved to suspend three without pay. The other two — a bus driver and a mechanic — continue to receive pay during their suspensions.
