School board elections are being held throughout Long Island on Tuesday.

School budgets are approximately 70 percent of the property taxes residents pay on the South Fork, so this is an important election day. Get out there and cast your ballots in your school district.

  • Vincent Vigorita, incumbent
  • Patrick R. Bistrian, incumbent
