2012: Class of 1962 Reunites 50 Years Later

East Hampton High School class celebrated at South Fork Country Club on Saturday.

The East Hampton High School Class of 1962 came together on Saturday, more than 50 years after the class graduated. According to organizer Peggy DiSunno, about 45 of her former classmates made it to the reunion, held at the South Fork Country Club in Amagansett. The group graduated as a class of 89 — the largest class at the time. Some traveled from Arizona, Florida and South Carolina just to be there on Saturday, DiSunno said, adding that the class was a tight-knit one that has held reunions every 10 years.
