Romney Attends 2 Fundraisers in Hamptons

Republican presidential nominee stops in Southampton and East Hampton.

Mitt Romney evening — the first at the Sebonack Golf Club in Southampton and then at the home of John A. Griffin, and his wife, Amy, in East Hampton, according to The New York Times.

This was Romney's second visit to the Hamptons this summer. His last visit, which included stops to Ronald Perelman estate in East Hampton and David Koch's house in Southampton, drew protestors and even led to the arrest of .

Griffin is the founder of Blue Ridge Capital, a hedge fund, and has already donated hundreds of thousands of dollars to Romney and his party members, The Times reported. Griffin once donated to President Obama campaign soon after he announced his presidential candidacy.
