Readers: Plow Workers Put 'UpIslanders' To Shame

Some locals might be frustrated by the plowing in parts of town, but workers have been pulling long shifts to get roads cleared, and many have wanted to extend "thank yous" to those workers.

Here's some feedback we got from East Hampton Patch fans on those whose job never seems to be over during and after big snows.

"They worked from very early Friday Morning (between 2 and 4:30 a.m.) till Saturday night around 5:30. Came back in early Sunday morning and worked all day. Worked early Monday all day and was back to work at 4:00 a.m. this morning. How much more can they give to the people of the EH Town. Melissa Bazar gave a shout to "Mike" who helped her free her car from a snow bank. "He had a plow and it was dark out — he freed me and my young son when the car got stuck!," she said.
