Pelosi Will Visit East Hampton In Support of Bishop

Family breakfast fundraiser costs $1,000 per plate.

House Democratic Leader Nancy Pelosi is slated to attend two South Fork fundraisers for Rep. Tim Bishop, D-Southampton, this weekend, including a family breakfast in East Hampton.

Pelosi's weekend in the Hamptons will begin with the 12th annual "An Evening at the Beach" to benefit Bishop on Saturday at the oceanfront home of Bob and Laura Sillerman on Meadow Lane in Southampton. The fundraiser is from 6 to 8 p.m.

Tickets are $500 each, and can be purchased online. There are also special packages available. The "Star Fish" includes two tickets and a special photograph for $2,000. The "Sea Serpent" includes six tickets, a special photograph, and co-host acknowledgement for $2,500.

In East Hampton on Sunday, its "Pelosi, Pancakes and Petting Zoo" at a family breakfast at the Baiting Hollow Road home of Liz Robbins and Doug Johnson. Television host Joy Behar will act as the special guest chef.

Tickets are $1,000 per person — children are invited free of charge. The breakfast takes place from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m.

Space is limited, according to organizers. Tickets may be purchased online.

Bishop was re-elected in November 2012 for his sixth term on the U.S. House of Representatives, beating opponent Randy Altschuler for a second time. Bishop will be up for re-election, again, in 2014.
