East Hampton's Credit Rating Increases

Town of East Hampton's credit rating got a boost last week as Moody's Investment Service.

The Town of East Hampton's credit rating got a boost last week as Moody's Investment Service raised the town's rating to 'Aa3,' which is the fourth highest rating.

According to Bloomberg.com, Moody's raised the town's rating, stating that over the past three years, the town's finances have improved. 

Bloomberg.com reported that Supervisor Bill Wikinson said when he took over, the town was near bankruptcy, but has been brought back "from death."
