Meanwhile, Nordlinger is continuing to raise awareness about her 12-year-old goddaughter, a competing gymnast from Rhode Island has been hospitalized since mid-December. Rhana Fleming is suffering from a condition known as as Transverse Myelitis, after becoming suddenly paralyzed.

Nordlinger is a mother of three.

The salary for the assistant to the supervisor's is budgeted at 2013 was just over $53,000, plus about $37,500 in benefits, according to the town budget.

Please note: The town will be announcing plans to fill the position in the near future.
