Another Napeague Beach Suit Headed for Trial

27East reports Supreme Court justice declined a summary judgement in larger beach ownership case on Monday.

A New York State Supreme Court justice ruled on the larger of the two lawsuits involving whether the beachfront is owned privately or by the town trustees on Monday. Justice Melvyn Tanenbaum declined the coalition of property owners associations and homeowners who say they own 4,000 square feet of beach a request for a summary judgment in this case.

Tanenbaum had done the same with the smaller of the two suits -- -- earlier this fall.
