Village Police Logs: Man Jailed After Breaking Wife's Arm

The following information was supplied by the East Hampton Village Police Department. A criminal charge is only an accusation and does not indicate guilt.

The following was released by the for the week of Dec. 26:

Rolando C. Mendoza, 44, of East Hampton, was arrested on Dec. 24 at about 5:10 p.m., two days after he allegedly broke his wife's right arm after kicking her on Dec. 22. East Hampton Village police also said that Mendoza threatened his wife. He was charged with third-degree assault, a misdemeanor, and second-degree harassment, a violation. He was held on $4,000 bail at the Suffolk County jail in Riverside. A detainer from the Immigration bureau is also in place.

Wilson E. Ordonez, 33, of East Hampton, was arrested on a drunken driving charge on Dec. 24 at about 3:45 a.m. While on patrol, police said they saw a Toyota 4Runner swerving on Woods Lane, near Toilsome Lane, and pulled it over across from the . He allegedly admitted to having one beer and two Sex on the Beach drinks. He was charged with DWI, a misdemeanor, driving without a license, driving on the shoulder, and failure to use a designated lane, all violations. Justice Rana released him on $500 bail.
