I count 11 agencies involved in this pot bust. Really?? I guess they have a lot of time on their hands or they are extremely over staffed at the taxpayers expense. In a time when states are legalizing it should we be focusing on this(arresting small time sellers)? Colorado just came out on Friday stating revenue from pots sales for their state so far for this year is in excess of 22 million. Meanwhile we must be spending far more fighting it at the taxpayers expense. New York is not a progressive state. We have a Governor who is actually a republican stating he is a democrat. We need new leadership in this state from the bottom to the top.

I agree w/Jonathan in his comments above. Taxpayers are constantly getting screwed.

@ Carik Stares, et al The way to get a reduction in the monies allocated to Home Land Security is to VOTE OUT the politicians who voted for the budget. That means voting out Senators Schumer and Gillibrand and Representative Bishop. These are the politicians who constantly spend our money like it means nothing to them. Rather than vote Republican, if you don't want to, then vote Libertarian. Libertarians spend money like it is coming out of their own pockets. Just the kind of politicians we need to stop the reckless spending in Washington. Enough is enough!

This is ridiculous, theres heroin spreading allover long island and the cops are harassing marijuana smokers, you know how much money these cops blow for stupid shit like this, Obviously these police are not very educated or intelligent if they think locking up some marijuana smokers is gonna make any sort of impact in helping this community.

The job of policemen are to protect and serve the community while most people i know feel paranoid or threatened anytime a cop is seen. Not saying all cops are bad, just the ones who believe this was a good idea to do
