• A 24-year-old East Hampton woman was arrested after she allegedly smashed her husband's two front headlights, while also disobeying a court order to stay away from him, in the parking lot of on June 4 at about 9:10 a.m. She also threw a Red Bull at him. The woman was charged with second-degree criminal contempt and fourth-degree criminal mischief, both misdemeanors. Catherine A. Cahill released her on $250 bail.
• A 27-year-old man from East Hampton was also arrested on a charge of second-degree criminal contempt, a misdemeanor. On June 3, police said they were called to a house on Three Mile Harbor-Hog Creek Road in Springs for a domestic dispute between a girlfriend and boyfriend. An order of protection for the man to stay away from the woman was on the books, as of April 15, 2012, following another domestic incident. He was released on $750 bail.
