Sag Harbor Police Log: Man on Pills Sideswiped 3 Cars

Arrest reports from Sag Harbor police during the week of June 18 to June 24:
Driving While Impaired by Drugs and Alcohol
• Jude Camillone, 50, of Evanston, Ill., was arrested June 23 at 9:39 p.m. and charged with driving while ability impaired by a combination of drugs and alcohol, and aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle in the third degree, both misdemeanors.
Police said Camillone was driving a gold 2003 Jaguar southbound on Madison Street when he sideswiped three parked vehicles.
According to the arrest report, he told a police officer he took Adderall and Klonopin earlier and Vicodin in the morning. The report stated that he performed poorly on sobriety tests and a prescreening breath test detected alcohol. Police said records show that his driving privileges were suspended in 1994 for failing to answer a summons.
Driving While Intoxicated
• Johnny R. Miller, 35, of Tampa, Fla., was arrested June 20 at 1:19 a.m. and charged with DWI, a misdemeanor, and cited for driving an unregistered vehicle, police said. According to the arrest report, Miller was driving a silver 2006 Hyundai north on Main Street when he made an illegal U-turn. Police said that after pulling Miller over it was found that he had the strong smell of alcohol on his breath and his speech was slurred.
Criminal Mischief
• A 22-year-old Sag Harbor man was arrested June 23 at 5:08 a.m. and charged with fourth-degree criminal mischief, a misdemeanor. Police said they received a report of two young males, one wearing a red shirt, vandalizing mailboxes while walking south on Madison Street. Officers located two men matching the description, according to an arrest report. The 22-year-old was positively ID'ed by a witness and placed under arrest, police said.
