Report: $1,000 Reward for the Safe Return of Kobe the Lobster

A lifesize statue of a lobster outside in Amagansett holding a sign telling drivers to "Eat Beef" has crawled off.

According to The New York Post, the 7-foot, 100-plus-pound lobster statue stolen from its post on the side of the Napeague Stretch.

Co-owner Steve Kasuba told East Hampton Patch it was taken a few days ago.

It's a case the owner hopes to crack. He and co-owner Alex Duff are offering a $1,000 reward for the return of Kobe the Lobster.
