The weekly police logs from the town and village departments.

The following information was supplied by the East Hampton Town and Village Police Departments. A criminal charge is only an accusation, and does not indicate convictions.

Eric D. Watson, 21, of Manorville, was picked up on drug charges after town police were called to a disturbance with a gun possibly involved on South Elroy Street in Montauk on the night of March 28.

No one was observed in the area, but police said they saw a 2003 Volkswagon with Indiana plates turning onto Second House Road from South Elroy, so they conducted a traffic stop to see if the occupants were involved. The driver, Erak R. Bryant, 34, of Hauppauge, and Watson, the passenger, told police they were leaving because their friend's former boyfriend had approached them with a metal pipe. But, they said, there had been no physical altercation and they didn't have a gun.
