Also, town police make one drug arrest in Springs.

The following information was supplied by the East Hampton Town Police Department and East Hampton Village Police Department. A criminal charge is only an accusation and does not indicate guilt.

• Kevin J. Somers, 37, of Amagansett, was arrested on a felony driving while intoxicated charge on May 3 after his 2010 Ford struck a utility pole on Abrahams Landing Road in Amagansett. A resident of a nearby house checked on Somers after hearing the crash, and Somers asked to use their restroom. When police responded, they found Somers in the restroom. He appeared to be intoxicated. He performed poorly on field sobriety tests, and was placed under arrest. Police said he was previously convicted of DWI in 2004. The car was not seized due to the extensive damage to the front end, police said. East Hampton Town Justice Catherine A. Cahill released him on $2,000 bail.

• Matthew R. Gesa, 22, of Bellport, was arrested on an aggravated DWI charge, a misdemeanor, after an accident in Springs on April 28. Police received a 911 call at about 5:30 a.m. regarding an accident near a home. Police arrived on scene to find Gesa, exiting the driver's side of a Dodge pickup truck that was in a wooded area off the road on the north side of Renfrew Lane. It had struck several trees. According to police, he appeared intoxicated and was not injured. His blood alcohol level was above .18, police said, leading to the aggravated charge. Justice Cahill released him on $350 bail.

• Dermot Dolan, 51, of East Hampton, was arrested and charged with misdemeanor DWI after his car hit a tree and overturned in Wainscott on April 28. Police said Dolan's 2012 Mercedes Benz was traveling south on Daniels Hole Road, when he crossed into the northbound lane, near Industrial Road, at about 5:30 a.m. He reportedly did poorly on field sobriety tests. Police said he was not injured. Following arraignment, he was released on his own recognizance.

• Benjamin M. Cramer, 24, of Easton, PA, was arrested on a misdemeanor DWI charge in Montauk on Monday at about 12:50 a.m. Police said they saw his 1964 Ford Falcon make a left turn from the Plaza onto Route 27, which is prohibited. Stopped on Montauk Highway, near S. Emery, police said Cramer appeared intoxicated. He performed poorly on field sobriety tests and was placed under arrest. His arraignment information was not immediately available.

• Jon W. Krug, 35, of Long Beach, was also charged with misdemeanor DWI on Sunday. At about 3:30 a.m., police pulled Krug over on Main Street, near David's Lane, in East Hampton Village for failure to use a designated lane. They said he appeared drunk and failed several field sobriety tests. Justice Cahill released him on $350 bail.

• Raymond J. Curtin, 21, of East Hampton, was arrested on a drug charge following a traffic stop in Springs on May 3. Police pulled Curtin's 2001 Dodge Dakota pickup truck over at about 12:55 a.m. They said he failed to signal a right turn onto Hildreth Place, and then failed to keep right. According to the arrest report, police obtained permission to search his truck, and found a clear plastic bag with a white powdery substance in the driver's side door panel. A field test showed the substance was cocaine, police said. He was charged with seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, a misdemeanor, and released on $100 bail.
