Police Logs: Alleged Drunken Driver Free on $12,000 Bail

Eugenio R. Tenesaca of Springs, who was arrested on Sunday morning, has a history of D.W.I. charges, according to town police.

Eugenio R. Tenesaca, 33, of East Hampton, was arrested on a felony driving while intoxicated charge on Sunday morning. Police said they saw Tenesaca's car fail to stop at the intersection of Springs Fireplace and Harbor Boulevard in Springs, and pulled him over near the intersection of Beverly Road at about 3:40 a.m. The officer suspected Tenesaca was drunk, administering two field sobriety tests, in which he failed both. A check of license showed it had been revoked twice related to drunken driving charges in 2007. He was held at police headquarters in Wainscott for arraignment. East Hampton Town Justice Lisa R. Rana released him on $12,000 cash bail.
