Police Logs: Woman Wouldn't Leave Precinct

The following information was supplied by the East Hampton police departments. A criminal charge is only an accusation and does not indicate guilt.

The East Hampton Town and Village police departments. The following reports were released for the week of Feb. 20.

• Kimberly L. Lojewski, 34, of Belchertown, Mass., was arrested after she refused to leave the Montauk Police Precinct on Feb. 12. She was reportedly observed kicking the side of the door at about 11:30 p.m., when police advised her to enter through the front door. When she came in, she was unsteady on her feet and appeared intoxicated. She requested to stay at the precinct for the night, and was told she could not, though she was offered ride. She was asked to leave several times, but refused, so she was placed under arrest, police said. A search revealed she was in possession of two pills that turned out to be Lorazepam and nine small green pills that were Clonazepam, both of which are controlled substances. Lojewski was charged with trespass, a violation, and two counts of seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, a misdemeanor.

• Agatha A. Zorawski, 24, of Huntington, was arrested on an aggravated driving while intoxicated charge, a misdemeanor, and unlawful possession of marijuana, a violation, after an accident in Wainscott on Saturday at about 2:40 p.m. Police came upon two vehicles stopped on Montauk Highway near Wainscott-Northwest Road. The driver of the Toyota said that he had been struck from behind by the Ford Mustang. Police said Zorawski was behind the wheel of the Mustang and she appeared drunk. Held for arraignment overnight, she was released on $300 bail.

• Zachary R. Essig, 31, of Hatfield, Mass., was also arrested on an aggravated DWI charge in Montauk on Feb. 12. Police said Essig was swerving on Montauk Highway, near Essex Street, and was pulled over in the Montauk Skate Park parking lot at about 8:50 p.m. He was held overnight for arraignment and released on $500 bail.

• Herson D. Rosales Camey, 26, of East Hampton, was arrested on a drunken driving charge on Saturday. Camey was charged with aggravated driving while intoxicated, as a felony, just after midnight after a traffic stop on Main Street, near Buell Lane, in East Hampton Village. In addition, he was charged with first-degree and second-degree aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle, a felony and a misdemeanor respectively, unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle, refusal to take a breath test, driving an un-inspected motor vehicle, consumption of an alcoholic beverage in a motor vehicle, failure to use a designated lane and driving without a seat belt.
