East Hampton Town Police detectives are investigating the death of a Brooklyn man found in the shallow waters of Napeague Harbor on Sunday afternoon.
At approximately 2:04 p.m.. Nicholas Valtz, 39, was discovered by a family member after he failed to return home to Bridgehampton after going kiteboarding in the morning. Vlatz was found floating in a grassy area of the harbor with his kiteboarding harness and gear still intact.
The police ask anyone with knowledge of the incident to contact them at 631-537-7575.
